President – Retail Development and Investments

As a Partner, Eric Gibson oversees Cameron’s Retail Development and Investment Strategy, focused on positioning the company to pursue acquisitions and developments across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic.

Eric has more than 15 years of experience predominantly focused on Retail Development. Most recently he spent 8 years as Development Partner with Aston Properties. During this time, he was responsible for leading Build to Suit programs for National and Regional Tenants. Eric also played a key role in acquisition, redevelopment, and disposition of urban mixed-use sites. He was previously Director of Development for a regional development firm, leading market strategy and site development for client rollout initiatives in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Eric believes in long-term trusted relationships that have lasting reach and create value.

He earned his B.A. in Public Relations from UNC Charlotte and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in North Carolina and South Carolina, as well as a member of ICSC. He continues to coach a variety of youth sports in the community and has held volunteer positions with the Boys and Girls Club of Gaston County and Thompson Child and Family Focus.
